I’m going to try something new. It’s been a long time since I’ve had a project, task, or challenge that was way out of my comfort zone. As you get older, it’s easier to continue with the way you’ve always done life, to not keep up with technology, to pretend that you’re doing just fine. But, I don’t think that’s how God designed us. The Creator of the universe, the designer of the mountains, the painter of the sky, created our intricate brains and customized our personalities. We weren’t all created to be the same or to like the same things or create in the same way. Instead, our perspectives, our thoughts, our desires can all be a reflection of his greatness and majesty.
So, I’m going to spend some time sharing ways that I see God reflected in everyday beauty. In my children, my husband, in food, in decorating, in nature, and in friendships. I hope that it encourages each of you who read this to pursue God’s unique and special design in your life. That it will spur you on to be who he designed you to be, and do what he created you to do.
“Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, Lord, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all.” 1 Chronicles 29:11
