Do you need inspiration for Easter or spring table settings?? Here are some simple ideas to add beauty & color to your table!
The Kids’ Table
This year, we are hosting lunch/dinner for our family & friends. There will be at least 10 kids, so I’ll seat some at the indoor kid table & some at the “fun” outside table. Probably the youngest & messiest will be out there- free to drop as much food as they want;). For the inside table, I found this beautiful Kate Spade tablecloth at Home Goods!
My friend Jenny lent to me her cute Pottery Barn baskets, in which I put the silverware & a little plastic egg. These are actually “resurrection eggs” from preschool, so maybe each kid can open their egg & share about what’s inside. Not sure how well that will go, but perhaps the older kids will help the younger. Either way, they look cute!
Finally, I placed a carrot on top of their napkins. Lately, my kids have loved eating whole carrots as snacks. So healthy, and adds some whimsy!
Also, in case you wondered- yes, I hate ironing! Sorry Mom!
I love when we get to eat around our dining table. It’s such a beautiful room & I love being able to have so many seated at one table. We can fit 12 comfortably- perfect for holidays & special occasions.
I used the same placemats I’ve had for a while (from Home Goods), but purchased these beautiful blue napkins at HG. They are such a gorgeous color!
Again, I used Jenny’s cute baskets & added some fresh greenery behind the silverware. Love the marble coasters from HG!
Jenny also let me borrow this cute Pottery Barn wheelbarrow, perfect for rolls or bread!
Again with the carrots- I just think they’re so cute!
We’re planning to have ham, flank steak on the grill, potatoes, veggies, rolls, salad, and some sort of delicious dessert. The kids are going to make resurrection rolls, which will be a first for me. Sounds cute & fun!
I’m so thankful to be able to celebrate Easter- the risen Savior, our Healer, our Redeemer, our Anchor, our Hope. He truly pulls us up out of the grave and makes us alive! I hope you believe that & feel it deep in your soul.
You are so loved! Happy Easter!
